About the Lab
Mission
To advance sustainable infrastructure and resilient communities across Africa through research, collaboration, and community-based implementation.
Vision
A future where all communities have equitable access to infrastructure systems that support long-term sustainability and resilience.
Founding and Focus
The Africa Resilient Communities & Infrastructure Lab was founded by a researcher whose academic and professional experience spans the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, the University of Pennsylvania, and Florida State University. His work focuses on the intersections of infrastructure systems, climate resilience, and governance in the Global South. The Lab builds on this foundation to advance research and community-engaged initiatives that promote equitable, sustainable, and resilient development across Africa.
